Last Home Game Traditions
What traditions have we lost from the final home game of the season that you miss or are glad to see the back of?

Off the top of my head, I am sure we used to showcase next seasons kit at the final home game?

Also, not necessarily the final game but the final few games I vaguely remember during the Redknapp days, if we were safe you would often see a few youngsters being given games. These days we just seem to play the strongest team. I would like to see these games used as an opportunity to give some up-and-coming players a bit of game time.

higher places in the league bring in more money, we stand a good chance of finishing 9th this weekend if Leicester lose and we beat Watford, blooding in youngsters isgood in theory but it cost us the chance to finish 9th and a worse case drop to 12th, each position is worth £1.9m.

Used to love the post match DJ in the PoW... played some superb choons (Moddy and Ska)... always worth going in there for a few and let the queues go down...

Jumping down from the East Upper to the Chicken Run so we could get on the pitch.

Thinking about it, we could have just used the stairs but you're not teenagers forever are you?

Going on the pitch during the 80’s and early 90’s.

My son often reminds me of when we would walk over to the centre spot and look up at the stands towering above us.

Iron Duke, IIRC, the hammer of the year was originally presented before the last game. Seem to recall players sprinting out to collect it, sprinting back & then coming out again for kick off!

Hammer of the Year used to be presented after the last home game.

Now they have some stupid 3 hour long awards ceremony during the week. Save of the season ffs.
